Sharded Markets
Trade with an intent
Authorize an exact-input trade with a protected minimum output on your selected shard.
An intent authorizes an exact input with a protected minimum output. It may execute immediately or remain open for compatible liquidity.
| Direction | Exact input | Minimum receive |
|---|---|---|
| Buy WHBAR | USDC | WHBAR |
| Sell WHBAR | WHBAR | USDC |
Create an intent
- Choose BUY or SELL. Confirm which asset leaves your wallet and which asset you expect to receive.
- Enter exact input. Use a positive plain decimal within the token's supported precision. Signs and scientific notation are rejected.
- Set minimum receive. Enter the lowest acceptable output. The MVP does not calculate this value or slippage tolerance for you.
- Select target shard. The current primary flow uses Direct routing. Only shards matching the USDC value band and readiness checks appear eligible.
- Connect and authorize. Approve the required token allowance and sign the prepared EIP-712 authorization. A prepared fallback can add a second approval and signature.
- Monitor the intent. Open Intents in the Sharded Markets app with the signing wallet and wait for final resolution.
Authorization is not execution: A successful signature means the intent is accepted and scheduled. It does not guarantee an immediate fill. Keep sufficient token balance and allowance available while the intent remains open.
Follow the intent lifecycle or cancel an intent while cancellation remains available.
